Honestly bought this when I wanted to put a small stereo in my car.

Its a Digital Design 1508 S4 8 inch sub thats been properly broken in by one of Mach1 audios old managers.
doesnt have any play time on it outside of the break in.

The box is a custom built and tuned box tuned for 38hz. Its not an overly big setup nor an overly heavy setup.

The sub can handle 400 actual clamped watts pretty much on a daily basis and be burped at higher levels. Dont turn away because of it being an 8. It will out hit many 10s and 12's out there especially if they are main stream!

The sub hasnt even been mounted to its current box. The box is also fully carpeted and professionally built.






Prefer a local sale as shipping would be a bit expensive! I have also bought and sold things from several members on here and could provide their names if that helps.

Sub goes new for 175. A good professionally built box like this goes for 150-200. Its specifically built for this sub.

So 250 obo is fair. Look on youtube for videos of what these subs do. 3 of these hit a higher spl level than my buddies 2 treo 12s clamped at 1300 actual watts. And the 3 8s were splitting 1000. Both in similar trucks and the 8s hit 9db higher with 300 less watts.

Btw that guy with the truck was in the low 150s db wise with the 3 8s at 1000 clamped watts. Which is almost under driving the subs!

I know I had two kicker comp subs for like 200+ a piece plus a 200+ custom box and fosgate 1,000 amp. Sold for a ps3 lol. My buddy has a 18" sub with a 5,000 watt hifonics amp and it hits so damn loud and I want the same setup just not for the balt lol

dd is hard to get i am an audio dealer dd is bad as* cant account for quality of box (not to say it isnt) but i will stand up for this sale just for a good combo peice. 38 hz is low as shiz for an 8 btw

 

38hz is what was recommended to me by the DD retailer and competition crowd here that runs them. The retailer here actually has his running 36hz and competes at 155db with 2 in a crx

Guys I can ship this but it wont be cheap which is why I was trying for a local sale.

 

Throw it up on Caraudio.com the classifieds will eat it up within the week. Not as many cobalt guys that desire that type of woofer and are willing to pay the prices DD wants for their stuff.
