Yeah, exactly. At least the backing back/credit card is still helpful though.

that sucks man i hope it works out alright, been reading way too many of these stories on here and thats the reason im only buying from vendors on here. i have had a few good transactions though, just sucks that it seems to be getting worse every day. btw i used to live in Maine too i know your pain of not being able to deal locally lol.

Yeah, there is like nowhere to buy anything around here. I would rather buy stuff online anyways because of how much cheaper it is, but it's just knowing who to trust. I bought A TON of parts for the car both aftermarket and just to get it running, and other than this one issue I only had to file two disputes for parts on eBay both of which were found in my favor.

Between my bank and PayPal I now have my money back and it was reversed from his account, though I still have the 4lb package coming. Should I just refuse it? What if it isn't even shaped like a lip, refuse it?

I don't intend to deal with sending him money again after how much he has screwed me around, though I don't even know that he is sending me the lip. Hence why I might just refuse it right when it comes.

I have already been refunded for the lip through my bank though

as some1 suggested, you get your lip, he gets his money. sure he has been a major PITA and has been less than helpful u can say, but open it up... whatever it is he sends you, if it's not a lip, keep it you have your money and he sent you something! perhaps it's a four pound bag of red jelly beans! holy crap i'd be psyched. unless they're poisoned.

anywho, if it is the lip, accept it and send him payment and then tell him thanks for the lip, and thanks for being a complete douchebag at the same time. you got ur item, and life is good

As a matter of fact if you got refunded through bank that means that he still keeps the money since it paypal didnt reverse the transaction. The seller STILL HAS The Money So there's no point sending it back or sending him another payment, just keep the lip and don't worry about the payment since you already paid the money and he's keeping it regardless. The only person that lost in here is ur bank, if u wanna pay for this lip give ur bank the money back, but that is totally up to u but dont refuse the lip as he already has the money for it !!!!

I'm assuming when I canceled the payment at the bank it did reverse the payment though. After I canceled it my PayPal account was disabled pending unauthorized access until I could reconfirm my account.

It happened to me before i got the money back from my bank while paypal did nothing and the seller kept the money and the item. Unless paypal reverses the transaction from the seller he still keeps the money, now the arguement is between ur bank and paypal, u got ur moeny back which is great but keep the item for now till u get a resolution from paypal. u will have to reactivate ur paypal account usually a week proccess...

This is what I see though, it looks like it has been reversed from him, though it doesn't clearly state that:

ooooh i see coz ur bank denied the transfer so paypal was forced to reverse the trasaction....nice yeah basically thats the easiest way to force paypal to do reversals, u will prolly see the 145 in ur paypal balance in a couple of days then it will disappear so u wont get paid double...but who knows what he's sending you...hmmm well the decision lies in ur hands now

After I denied the payment at the bank my PayPal showed -$145, after they reversed it it shows $0. So now I have the money back in my bank.

I'm not sure that I will be here when it comes, can it still be refused after it has been opened?
