This is probably a stupid question. Why does it run a distributor instead of the coil on plug set up?

He is the guy. Sounds like another crazy Cobalt is coming to the site.

The coil on plug doesn't fully do the trick for that powr level. I too am converting.

Look at the Phase5 "Cobalts" they get tp keep the "Cobalt" name.
Besides I have kept the LSJ and I am leaving the car as stock "looking" as I can.
But in a way you are right, I do plan on changing the name. I am no longer calling it a "Chevy" Cobalt and the only badges will say SS. GM wouldn't help me when I asked so for now, this is "Roddy's SS".
Unless GM decides they would finally like to join in the fun, I will be removing all bowties from the car.

I think you just said my car was going to take another year or two
And to think I was going to rep you when this disappears
I will keep everyone up to date on my project and in the meantime I get to start following RollermanDan's project. It too will be a kickass car.

I'm really hoping that one day I'll be able to REALLY make it in the Sport Compact Series. Racing has been in my blood since I was five and now is the chance to achieve what I want. Without Marty, this project could not have happened and I can't thank him, GM, and Roush enough for the help that they have / or are going to give me.

I also hope to have the support of the CSS.net community for this project. I've learned so much in the past year thanks to the many great members on here. Don't worry, if things go well, I'm going to help the community back if I can.
