F/S: K&N Drop Filter
Like the title says.
Its a E-1009 and it's already cut to filt perfectly, still have everything in original box.
asking really cheap, maybe like 30bux? not going to find it cheaper than 50 anywhere. I bought it for 60 @ discount auto.

Here is my angle on this cut out filter .........
I bought the filter ,
Pulled apart my front end.
Took out the old filter.
Noticed it had a closed end that matched the bulge in the bottom of air box.
I went over to my #3 toolbox(3/4 and 1" drive box)
Got out a 1 13/16" socket.
Got out my Heat gun and
Went over and took a 5" anvil(about 5 lbs.),
Heated up the rubber(without melting/burning/startinganything on fire)
Pushed carefully on the rubber just like the stock filter(indenting the end)
Put the anvil on top of the filter and let it cool for about 10 minutes.
Most of the crater-like indention stayed
Then ,with a little persuasion , re-applied a bit more heat and put it all back together.
It has been 3 weeks, 1,800 miles, no lights or any problems .
Also no ,raw, contaminated air entering my engine. I would not run my lawn mower with a hole in the end of the filter.
Just my opinion as a Journeyman Railroad Mechanic.
Hope this helps people....
