Is this the one that fits the cobalts bellhousing wise? I'm so tempted to do this. Lsd is pretty salty for them but I would love to have the gearing. Anyone know who rebuilds these and what it costs?

Pwerks can do the f40. They are easier then the f35

Didn't realize I was on the second page, Yes, this is the F40 that bolts up to the cobalt.
You still need the Kit, though.

Thanks Matt, I'm looking seriously at this. Would sell both my f35's to do this since it's too hard to convert back.

I still think the gear ratios for the quaffe 6 spd conversion are the best by far but man are they expensive.

Friendly advise. Show better pics of actually trans. Other than wrapped on a pallet. I bet you would sell in a heart beat with better pictures. Tips unwrapped, pics of motor mounting points. Inside of bellhoising. Top serial plate etc. if you would of had better pics this would have never been a two page thread. Trying to help you out.
