Well paintballer is the first to say 100% that he will take it. I am not real sure on how to go about this lol, wasn't sure so many would be interested lol. So he has the first go at it as of now. I will still put up the pics in the morning. The rest will be for sale.

I sent you a pic of the tranny via pm just now. Like I said when it gets a little closer to when you want to do it, I will get ahold of the shop and my friend and we can get it set up to replace. I will be going there thursday or friday so I will bring it up then. And I have a new tob as long as the new tranny doesnt use the same one I will put that in there.

 

Which tran are they using for the 6-speed swap out of a gxp?

 

07 and newer Saab tranny with the close ratio.

 

Are these direct F35 replacements or is there cutting involved? Do they also replace f23's? I assume you'd swap the PCM if you do the swap, correct?

 

ZZP is making a complete swap kit. There is a new flywheel, clutch disk and what not.

 

so how come you want to go with the slightly longer 3rd and 4th? if you're already hitting 4th on the 4.45 you're going to hit it on the 6 speed for sure. i would still think the 1.36 1.05 is better than the 1.32 .95. 6th is still going to be a great low rpm cruising gear.

 

Yea I was looking at cost factor. But I am going to just go through ZZP for everything. The couple I found are jus as much as if going through ZZP and also ZZP checks them out as well.

When is ZZP supposed to come out with this kit? I need a new trans and (depending on price) I'd rather go with a 6-Speed than the stock 5-er.

They are working on getting the final products for the instal done. But I dont think it will be long. Just email them to inquire about it. Obviously they know more on the product and what all is needed then I do. They should be able to help anyone of you interested out.
