That is a picture of the actual hood. The area that is defective would not show up in a picture. I tried to take a few pictures when I bought it from Rev It Up, so I could have it fixed or replaced by them, but the gel coating problem just wouldn't show up on my camera. That's how small the problem is. Like I said, she is looking to sell it in the local area.

 

She doesnt need a stock hood and would just like to sell it flat out.

Sorry guys, I deleted the pic of the defect after I figured out Rev It Up wasn't going to fix it. But, if your in the local area give those numbers a call and I'm sure she'll let you come take a look at it. You can't see it in the pictures, but it is on the right side of the cowl.

 

where was it originally purchased and for how much?

 

i would be willing to come up and get it.. just gotta think about it first.. see what my check is for this time around

If it is only $30 to fix, why doesnt she fix it and keep it or fix and sell for more. I am actualy gttin kinda curious what this defect is.. bc i have heard that defects in gel can cause perm damage to the CF makin it weak.

this is the seller of the hood...
just to let everyone know I am selling it because it is from my husbands car and he was recently deployed for 6-8 months with the US Navy and will not be doing the extras that he wanted to do to his car now.... I am selling it for 300 to sell it quickly and so that I don't have to store it. It is a minor flaw.
