its a megasquirt II not I and that is a tuning solution sort of... a lot of the s series guys run them

 

Standalone fuel system. Basically it's another avenue for fine tuning.

its a full stand alone. basicly if you have to ask, it is over your head (no disrespect). it will do fuel and ignition control as well as a pile of other stuff with different firmware. i had one in my old v6 cavalier, that was the biggest learning curve ive had with anything car related. i did get quite a good handle on it. right now i have a turbo l61 running off the same unit posted here.

I met a guy that had this in his turbo Ecotec Cavalier. It worked pretty good.
