like the title says i have a brand new pacesetter header for the 2.2 l cobalts i bought was going to put it on never got around to it. I have decided to boost my car and cant use this header cause of the turbo manifold needed its still in box been taken out once to make sure everything was there. I would like to get 160+shipping since this is what i paid for it.

you wont be able to get what you payed for it... you wil only be able to get MAYBE 80%... just saying... GLWS from one 2.2l to another!

sorry to say but brand new means next to nothing... no offence... but if i had the choice to buy from an off the street guy of the original company for the same price i would go with the original company... less room for potential issues... not saying you cant be trusted... just my $.02

 

shoot if someone needs proof i would be more then happy to get a signed note or proof from a real legit shop saying this is untampered

it will fit the 2.0 but...........it has to be modified bc its the long header so you would have to cut and weld a dp which is the reason i cant sell mine which was the creamic coated header and no one wanted it so yes it fit just have to make a dp pretty much

yeah, but the pacesetters sweet cause it comes with the gasket, header, flange...it doesn't need a flex pipe, it utilizes itself to flex. can take it to any shop and have them weld flanges or do the whole install <$100. also one of the best headers you can get, look at zzp's design then the pacesetter, you'll see what i mean .

Look, I hate to burst peoples bubbles, but these Pacesetter headers don't go for that much, how do I know? I bought 2. I picked up a BRAND new 2.0 Pacesetter AND Exhaust Depot DP for $200 shipped...person never installed either piece on his car. That's less than HALF retail price. I later picked up a 2.2 Pacesetter for less than $140 shipped that was BRAND NEW and NEVER INSTALLED. I bought all of it from members on here. And all I have to do once I go SC is swap the header from the 2.2 to the 2.0 and I'm set.

So good luck with your sale, but I'm just saying that you won't get 160 shipped even.

I picked up a Brand new full Ceramic one local for $100 it was an amazing deal. Hey Bump for awesome product. header makes exhaust sound alittle raspy but its worth it for the performance gains this header provides

I apologize for telling everyone what I paid for identical products from these very forums.

Let me "thread jack" some more and clear up a couple questions that people had. This will fit the 2.0, but it's only intended for the 2.2. The 2.2 Pacesetter uses 1.5" primaries and 3" collector, the nearly identical 2.0 Pacesetter header uses 1.75" primaries and 3" collector.

It doesn't benefit me to talk poorly about something you're selling, but I have to agree with ShadowStal3er in the sense that the way a lot of people think is like this: "Why would I buy an item from someone on the forum for the same price as it is brand new from a reputable seller?" Now if you were to sell it for even $5 or $10 less than the online retailer, you would have more people interested. But again, I say that these just do not hold their value (new or not)...it's like a car. Once it leaves the dealer lot, it has already lost some resale value.

You can say what you want or complain about me "jacking" your thread again, but I'm just trying to be honest.

You should try Ebay, Your Cobalt, or some of the ecotec forums...you might get some better results.
