Cat back is 2.25" or 2.5"??

 

it is the stock ss supercharged exhaust. most of the piping is 2.5 inches but right before the axel, there is a small portion that is 2.25

 

Why you need a stock SS/SC DP? I has one.

 

the car needs to go in for some warranty work. i dont think they will like that i cut the cat out. lol

 

What work are they doin? Not having a cat does not really affect much else on the car.

 

it needs the new timing chain set...i just dont want them to give me **** about it. do you know a dealer that would do the work and not care about not having the cat?

 

Probably Kelley, where I used to work. Maroone has also been pretty lax from what I hear. I don't know what warranty work is... I only got stuff done that I could do myself when I was a service advisor.

 

thanks man, i just heard the ticking from the timing chain the other day. i found no shavings in the oil though. my VIN is one of the cobalts that could have been affected so i'd rather be safe than sorry and risk having it break on me. btw do you know anyone with a cobra heat exchanger? i have been looking around all the cobra sites but found nothing under 120.

it is $85 shipped. someone else has dibs right now. im just awaiting payment. so if that deal falls through, your number 2

the springs will lower it about an inch and will stiffen up the ride giving it better handling. all my prices include shipping so it would be $160 for the springs and catback. you are 3rd in line for the cat-back as of now. i will let you know if the deal falls through
