FS: Taillight Tinting

Figured im pretty damn good at this..
So if anyone wants their Taillights tinted I'll tint them!

All Prices Include Shipping back to you well maybe except canada or overseas lol
Sedan = $60

Coupe = $55

Tinting of the Taillights Include the 3rd Brake light.
Not trying to rip anyone off, i think these are reasonable prices right??

Can of Niteshades=$15
Can of Clearcoat =$5
Shipping back to member =$15

So labor comes out to be $25 / $20 ..

Let me know what everyone thinks or PM me if you'd like yours tinted

ya its possible to tint just the outer circle, i'd just cut out a template to go around it. might not be (PERFECT) as can be but it can be done, how fast to send them back? it'll probably take me a week to tint them,( i take my time on them to make them as perfect as can be)
right now im low on cash and dont have the money to get some VHT niteshades so if you wanted them done i'd need like $15 extra to tint them, (ya i know i suck) but i am currently laid off and dont have much money for alot of stuff.

=/ i cant be without taillights for a whole week + shipping time.

a better idea would be to Buy some tint them and when the person who buys them from you recieves them to send back there old ones.

rinse and repeat. ya know?

I would def. pay if you had some extra lights around. I would also not be able to drive around without my lights for a couple days.

i attempted to paint my tail lights the other day and i used some shitty smoke colored RC tinting spray which really sucked! so i had to try and rub the paint off and it was a ****. paint thinner didn't work, nail polish didn't work, but you know what did? old used brake fluid worked like a charm and it didn't f with the plastic at all. i'm gonna get some nightshades and give it another go

you can do it...just don't go as dark as his. or you can spray lightly and make them look like a dark amber red color. you could always tape off the center circles of the tails and black out the rest of the light so that some of the original red is the same...that's the cool thing about nightshades. you can modify how they look by going really dark or not so dark. i went over them a few times with light coats so that they aren't completely black. i'll take a pic of mine and post it up.

All that texas law requires is that they are visible within like 300 ft at night. I had blackout/smoke vinyls over my headlight and taillights, still on the tail lights, and have never been pulled over, and I had it done, pulled up to a county sheriff here and also asked a state trooper, they both said the same thing, "As long as I can see them clearly when I am in front or behind you, otherwise, we couldn't care if you didn't have them, it shtose sicty cops you gotta worry about!" then they both laughed, looked at my lights and drove off. I would just go ask a city cop in the area you live in and see what they say, otherwise, tinting them isn't illegal, all the law says is the light emitted must be red for the brakes, amber for the turn signals, and white for the headlights, it does not specify a certain shade.

Sorry I no longer tint taillights anymore. I never have the time to do it.

However... My friend is putting his 4 door back to stock and the tinted taillights I did for him are just sittin in a box. he'll probably let them go. They were bought brand new and tinted, Its one of the best tint jobs I've done.

say $120Shipped? PM or email me if Interested

if you want tinted tails that look like glass then hit up a guy named FLIP. he doesnt use VHT. he uses black and clear mix then clear. alot more better looking and around 50bucks to do em. they look amazing. but ill let the picstures on his site do the talking.

not to bash or anything, but that "can of clear" is not going to last... It needs to be sprayed with auto clear such as your car is, and it will look much better and last forever just my 2c from experience
