What year Saturn Ion do you have?
If you don't have the later 07 ecotec with the cam position sensor then they will fit.

Someone confirm this for me if you own a Ion 2.2L.

Can't believe you haven't sold the cams yet. People around here are cheap.

Holy ****. That idle is MEAN. I am thinking about these now buddy, since I know you're a pretty good seller...haha.

Couple questions, how hard is the install (I know you didn't do it yourself, but I would be, so if you have any idea, that would be great)? And, do I HAVE to be tuned right away? I won't have the cash to get both, but I need this car to run. And, what else do I need other than these cams? Oh, and will they fit 08's? Oh, and can a brotha get a discount since I bought your header and DP? plz?

That's what worries me
I think the 08 might have a cam position sensor like the 07 ecotec 2.2L. did. TTR lists these comp cams for the 05 and 06 cobalt only. No mention of 08
It would cost you more $$$ to get bate's engineering or another machine shop to swap the sensor

Damn Right you get a discount. A good repeat customer like you $175
That's including shipping.

Other than all the basic bolt-ons that I listed in my review. Intake/Header/Dp.........

Upgraded Valvetrain (Springs, Retainers, Seats)

Although these cams are optimal at 2600 to 6800 Rpm's so just getting Trifecta Performance to bump the Rev limiter to 7000 rpm's you can already utilize the whole powerband.

I'm gonna make sure I don't have a positioning sensor, and then you will have these taken off your hands. Oh yeah, can I run untuned for a little while? I don't care if it's a little shaky, I just need it to go 70mph and run when I need. I'll get tuned in the summer.

******* me timbers, I have a sensor.

Absolutely. The transmission is in no way affected by a camshaft swap.

I ran un-tuned for 3 days and trust me it's almost undriveable. I reset the computer after the install and it took 2 days of stalling at every red light until it stopped. Then the 3rd day it ran without shutting off but with a very rough idle.

At a steady 70 mph it will run same as stock. Only problem is in city driving

Not sure since this header was listed for the 2.2 and 2.4L. only
If I had a SS/SC I'd get the Hahn Racecraft header. Nice looking piece

Stage 2 cams will give you more Hp
Just make sure to upgrade the Springs, Retainers and Seats otherwise your valvetrain will not last very long.

Thanks for the BUMP
