FS: Used GM STAGE 2

I have a GMPP Stage 2 kit with approximately 5-6K miles on it in great condition. If you are local to Charleston, SC or willing to make the drive, I can reflash the car for you with HPTuners and even install it at no additional fee. If not, I can send the most update tune file for HPTuners via email. This does not include the belt, and you will have to purchase one online or at the dealership. PM me for first dibs and I'll also check back with this thread.

Asking $325 Shipped.

I can hold it for a bit if need be, but I could really use the money right now. I'll keep you updated on the sale status if you would like.

Is it complete stage 2 and if so I would like to take you up on that...only if you still have the code for it so GM can do the tune...

ok spoke too soon no belt....no biggy....how can I do a HP tune w/ no software from HP?

325 bucks are you kidding? For a used stage 2 that wont have a warranty and seems to be missing the belt. Try 200 bucks.

So you really think 200? I was thinking 300 shipped but will a used stg2 void my war. since it is not a new part and can GM still install it w/o the paperwork?

He has the paperwork. Look at the pic. He has the registration number covered so other people dont use it.

This is one of those dealer dependant questions. I would be willing to bet that most dealers would do it and not hassle you. But there are many that would probably try to void your warrenty.

Call your service manager and ask. If they say no call a different place until you find one.

big question here is..has the code been already used to flash his car?

If it has, I don't think you can transfer the stage 2 flash between cars. Now if he has HPT and has flashed the car with a shared stage 2 flash, then the code should be still valid and so would warranty.

Flashed by dealership = all parts
Flashed by HPT = selling parts with flash

The code was used for the orginal install and tune. If you know someone with HPTuners, I can send you the tune or they can download the file right off the HPtuners site. All vendors that do ECU reflashes can also help you out. If someone can tell me how to reflash a different cars ECU with it installed in my car without a hiccup, I could do that too. I'm not trying to rip anyone on here off considering I spent $673 for it new as I one of the first to receive the kit. It now retails for $550 at CED new. You can defintely score a flash and belt for cheaper than $250 easily!

FYI, most dealerships refuse warranty work even if it is a GM Performance Part as well. If it isn't stock, then most will turn you away. Myself as well as many others on here have experienced this first hand.

Please keep this thread clean, no more sidebusting if you're not interested in the kit. Thank you.

I'll take $300 shipped since it does not include the belt/flash code.

Check your latest PM bro. It's all yours if you still want it. The other two PM'd me and said they are no longer interested.

Wow, nice sidebust! You couldn't have even been discrete about it with a PM.

True, your warranty to go with the kit will not happen. I think I have confirmed as well that if you send me your PCM, I can reflash it with my HPTuners with the latest GM Stage 2 tune and send it back to you. I will do this for free, so all you will have to do is get a belt! If you one day it to me I'll flash it and one day it back to minimize down time. PM me if you are interested. Money order preferred, but I am willing to do Paypal as a last resort. Price is still $300. Let me know, so we can make it happen!

its not to bad..

rent zzp pully puller tool and have a couple breaking bars with you...

also have 1 or 2 buds... you should probably be able to do it within 3-7 hours depending on how you work...

yoru slow points will be .. Belt and pully swap..everything else is pretty straight forward and fast

3-7 hours???!!! are you insane! dealer charges 4 hours for the job, which means a tech can do it in 2 hours max. the hardest part would be removing the pulley. unless you have access to a press or a pully puller
