so got a few sets of headlights for sale. first is a set of stock housing painted black with a HID kit in it i bought from another member but didnt use, just the lights tho no ballasts. i will also include extra lenses soon as the member i bought them from sends them to me i will send them to you...145 shipped




next up is a set of gen 1 projector halos. all working cept 1 on each side of the small led bulb which you can buy for 3 bucks of any led website 115 shipped

 

You can get the same 1st gen lights on ebay for 130 shipped.

Hid color has to do with the ballast not the bulb, also he stated in the first post that the first set only have hid bulbs not the balance so whatever ballast you buy will be the color

actually that is very false, ballast is either 35 or 55 watt and has nothing to do with color, the color depends on what temp bulb you buy. thats why in the pic above you can see the tag that says x,000K. its either 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, or 12.

 

its 6k and if you ******* keep it up ill just buy ballasts and use them myself which actually is a good idea

 

The pic of the bulbs even has a tag saying 6,000 K. Pm about the painted ones please!

 

then you explain to me why when I have my 12 k's which were almost purple and I blew a ballast and accidentally got sent a replacement 8k ballast why the bulb then lit up bluish, I have about 10 different sets of a Hid bulbs from different kits ranging from 6 k to 12 k and I can mix match bulbs all day on the same ballast and get the same color

 

, in fact the other day I took some bulbs off a 12k and put them on a 6 k kit and they lit up crystal white

 

theres no such thing as an "8k ballast". the "K" is the temp of the bulb and only the bulb. ballasts have no temps. ballasts are either 35 watt, or 55 watt. and those will make a difference slighty in the brightness of you lights but not color, idk where you get your information but its super wrong. pm mkulrey13 he owns buyhids which is where i bought all my hids from, he will tell you, your wrong.
