This is my 6th or 7th time in Dubai (3rd this year). I've been to Bahrain twice this year, and I've made a stop in Athens, Greece. Oh, and yes I've seen some bad ass cars in Dubai and Bahrain. People are driving Cayman Ss and Audi R8s as daily drivers. Also I seen a Veyron yesterday, and it was being followed by 2 Lambos (damn near murdered out) and white Bentley Continental GT. Every once in a while I see a honda all riced out. The other thing I thought was funny is they have the Lumina SS (Very similar to the Pontiac G8 GT). I think the car looks better as a chevy and the most common color I see for it is Sunburst Orange. Dubai also uses the Caprice SS as one of thier police cars. On my last stop out here I seen a BMW M5 police car with someone pulled over.

I don't think you want to be in Dubai, its way to effen hot out here.

 

Im from texas, it wouldnt be that much of a change, and yea Ive had a few ppl that have gone over there. They say it is nothing to see lambos, ferraris, MB, BMW, sitting on the side of the road abandoned because they just leave it and go buy another one. Wish I could get in the business of pulling them out of their junkyards and bringing them here.

Have you had a chance to check out that bad ass drag strip they have there?

I have not, I'm in the navy and can only travel so far from the ship, plus I don't my own ride here. I did however check out the F1 track in Bahrain, and got to do 3 laps in one of thier test cars. **** was expensive though. My wife was mad that I spent so much.

 

lol but you only get so many chances in life to do such a thing. I bet it was badass to run an f1 car around there, what kind of speeds did you see?

also awaiting for parts. didn't realize this was a multiple wait till now, he had been texting back till friday but than he stopped. i bought dash pieces that he was gonna custom paint and also cluster bezel. this was about two weeks ago, he been saying he has been busy and has had no chance to finish the paint job nor to get me pics. also he never mentioned anything about been sick. last thing he said pics would be received by the end of the weekend.

What are u all planning on doing?

 

Well if you had contact with him since end of last week, I might wait to see what happens. I mean he has a good number on iTrader as well as a high post count. Maybe something did happen.. I dunno trying to stay optimistic lol

the cars that they let us drive were limited to 125. They weren't really F1 cars that we got drive, they looked similar but they were smaller. Still cool though
