Hub conversion

Hey i have a ls with the 4 lug and want to switch to the 5 lug anybody no any good places for cheep to get the hubs?

use g6 knuckles and find a wrecked ss and get the hubs off of it,,im currently looking for a rear beam before i do the swap...i want rear disks lol

Don't do it! Your rim selection goes to crap. Get the disc brake conversion kit.

some of us would rather have bigger better brakes than unlimited wheel selection..

So use an FE5 rear suspension setup and swap the hub out for your stocker and get an appropriately sized rotor. You only need the rear torsion beam piece.

could do that..id still rather have 5 lug myself, op search the conversion, there are a few threads about it and if you need to ask someone directly ask maven

You can bolt on the SS calipers, all you would need is custom drilled rotors, which are easy.

I can't understand why anyone would wish for 5x110.

so the rear ss calipers will bolt up to the 4 lug LS Rear "axle" and where would you be able to get the rotors from

its a harder swap than you think, i have talked it over very in dept with maven and you have a couple issues; no mounting brackets either have to custom fab or replace the torsion beam. brake bias by switching to the ss rear brakes you will have too much rear bias causing you to have worse braking. even by running the larger ss front brakes you still cant just install the rear disks and go... you WILL need 2 proportion valves to control the rear. unless you have abs then it will work......... for a little while
