Im not sure...Thread size seem to be bigger.. Do you have the sizes of the Hurst Shift Knob that comes with the shifter. Besides I think there is a spacer bw the knob the reverse lock.

I don't know if anyone sells the "gun metal" one that comes stock with our shifter. I would call Hurst and ask if you can't find the thread pattern.

I doubt that Hurst would do that, but you never know. Good luck.

I wanted a different knob too so if you can confirm what thread pattern it uses post it up.

I haven't got mine from OTT yet so I can't check the thread. Soon as I get it I'll use a tap and die to find out.

Does anyone know the diameter of the knob?

Anyone who is thinking to change their hurst sts, PM me.

Cut the threads off and use your stock shifter. Just JB weld it to the shaft that's what I did on one and it worked out pretty good.

Hey i was just browsing thru your thread.. I had the exact same problem. I called Hurst and they sent me a replacement. It was the gunmetal color.. I just did this last month i think. Mine was all beat up. I would say call again IMO.

Lol very true. I'll go look tomorrow. This knob has that hollow inside part for the reverse lock out to work. I'll figure out the thread pitch and length for ya.
