there was a recall or cover warranty on them something to that effect, forget how many years/miles though if you search im sure you'll find it

 

emissions warranty is 8 years/80,000 miles

Yes, the stock ones bad. Can't take the car to a dealer noe, because the shop I took it to to have it checked out, said the cat was fine. Said it was the muffler, and welded a new shitty muffler on. Sounds like ****. So I figure I might as well go aftermarket now. Car has 65k on it with a cold air.

I have a 3" high flow cat and a 3" flex section, you can have one made with the flanges from your stock pipe. Will be cheaper than buying one. If not, good luck on your search.
