K1 Technologies Rods

Name: Pedro
Location: Houston, TX, USA
Means of Contact: This thread or PM's (will be made public though...just how I roll)

Up for sale is a set of K1 Technologies connecting rods. These puppies were intended to be used in my newly ordered zzp block, but I recently acquired a set of Pauters instead. These are BRAND NEW, NEVER USED! They're still in the original box that they came in, and still in their original plastic sealed bags. That's how I got'em, and that's how they'll leave me.

These rods will fit any LSJ or LNF blocks. Not sure about other blocks, but they're advertised on ZZP's site for the aforementioned blocks. They are more than sufficient for any serious engine build, and should fit any piston made for our car (not sure if bore matters in this case).

Price - Because of these rods being BNIB, I'm not looking to sell these for too much of a loss. Brand new from ZZP, these things are 499.99 plus shipping. I'm willing to eat it at $475 plus shipping OBO. I'm flexible, but not that flexible about it. If you're within driving distance, we could meet half-way, or I could meet you all the way if you're in the Houston area.

Thanks for looking!

BTW, everything that came in the box (including stickers) will be included.

might want to check shipping cost for you. cause shipping them from zzp is $14. which brings the price back up to 499 for you. shipping may be more for you since you don't have a business contract with a shipping company.

today only: 465 + plus shipping! I can try to fit them in the smaller flat rate box so that shipping can come out to like 5 bucks and some change...

I'll accept some trades as well:

-Retros + cash

-T/C Struts/shocks with peddars (straight up trade)

-Dual Interceptors plus cash

-SAAB intake manifold (modified) + cash

-TWM Shifter + cash

I could also use various other engine parts as long as they're brand new.

thanks man. Heads up...ZZP just told me that they can't use my BRAND NEW Diamond Forged Pistons, so as soon as I get them back, I will be selling them as a set or separately. Trying to get 850 for the set. The pistons are 9.5:1 compression ratio, and standard bore. They come with rings, wrist pins, are no coatings, save for whatever is on the skirts. Here's a pic of them when I first got them (they were opened by the mechanic at ZZP, which is how I know they can't use them):

I promise that when I get them back that I'll take pics with the paper.

they will fit on the rods. They just won't fit in the zzp block that they're trying to put together for me

I ordered them from Turbo Tech Racing for the standard bore for the LSJ block. I believe that's 86mm if I remember correctly.

if you're interested in a more detailed answer about the pistons, look here:

Diamond Forged Piston Set Chevrolet Cobalt 2.0L Forged Piston/Pin/Locks - Engine Internals

it also gives you details on what bore the rod must be.

I guess I should take this moment to clarify before anyone asks. By "set" I mean all four pistons with all four rods. I'm not going to sell one rod and one piston to four or eight individuals that's just stupid.

So, you could purchase just the pistons, or just the rods, or both of them together!
