Got a brand new (never installed) K04 turbo with the "big wheel" compressor installed and balanced. Work was sourced by Hahn who was considering getting into this product but decided there were enough vendors selling this upgrade. The plastic BOV cover nipple is gone, but everything else is perfect. Just move your BOV cover over. This is a direct bolt on replacement. You can keep your old turbo or sell it with this option. The price is $950 shipped ground (continental US only). Paypal fee is included in the price.

what kind of gains would one see with this turbo over their stock factory turbo?

 

I have heard 50-60hp gain due to being able to hold boost until redline. I think BTF has this option in another thread that speaks to what the upgrade can do. I do not know if Bill Hahn will back this turbo or not. You'll need to check with him. I suspect that if you are a regular customer, he would probably back it up as he has always been good to me.

 

I'd be interested, but it seems a little pricey. However, I'm sub'd to see if price comes down later :-)

I have this upgrade!!! Its wickid. 50-60hp is not what i was. i saw 40hp
