of course I did there was no cat. I just turned off the o2 sensor with EFI live and now don't have any problems.

I don't need the rest of the cat-back as that exhaust is a downgrade for a 2.4 since it has 2.5 piping where as the gmpp catback is 2.25. That's why I want just the muffler. Damn if anyone knows where I can get just a gmpp touring muffler let me know.

Have you ever measured the the inlet on the stock SS resonator ?? I have and it's 2 and 1/16 of an inch, pretty small right ...... oH and it necks down to 2.25 over the axle too. So much for the 2.5'' stock cat back .

Now it makes sense why SS/SC's have gained as much as 12 hp with a GMPP catback DOWNGRADE.

I don't know someone told me that the gmpp was actually a downgrade because it's 2.25 piping, and the stock exhaust on a 2.4 is 2.5 piping except for the section over the axle which is 2.25. So if that's true then wouldn't just getting the muffler, and welding in a 2.5 pipe where the 2.25 section is be just as good if not better than the full gmpp cat-back? Cause then it would be a full 2.5 exhaust where as the gmpp will still be 2.25. And the HP gain probably comes from the muffler. Also I have an LSJ DP.

OP sorry to clutter you for sale thread , just trying to clear up some info . Well it's a bump anyway heheh.



No , ,because the stock resonator inlet on the SS or SS/SC exhaust is only 2 and 1/16th . You would have to cut the stock RES off....... then cut the over the axle piece off , then the stock muffler has to go . 3

By the time you do all that the GMPP exhaust is a definite upgrade compared to any stock LSJ exhaust. If an LSJ gains 10-12 HP from a GMPP exhaust , a LE5 won't be bottlenecked by it at all. They say a 2.5 is good to 300hp , so i would assume a 2.25 would be fine to 250.

Just so you know ... the lsj downpipe has a 2" restriction at the flex pipe .

perosonally i thinnk its not selling cuz ur price is set to high for what u want for it. u can buy new from zzp granted not ceramic coated but still for less than what ur sellin for. i beleive 440 for theheader/dp combo from them not ceramic coated header. but again i will bump it for u as well
