LSJ Head.
LSJ Head.
This is a complete head that was pulled from a new engine supplied with a "body in white". There were slight modifications to un-shroud the intake valves as shown in the pics. This is a complete head including cams, lifters, rockers and all the other bits and pieces. I'm also including a head gasket and the intake and exhaust manifold gaskets.
This is effectively a new head... just look at the cam bearing journals in the pics. A bare head from crateenginedepot is nearly 900 bucks. Yeah, you can buy a clapped-out used one for a couple hundred bucks, but you get what you pay for.
I'm asking $750 for it with everything included. I will entertain reasonable offers, but be realistic. The key word here is reasonable.
Yes... I photoshoped in the date. I took all the pics before I knew the rules for posting and hope I don't have to do all that again.

The next pic shows the cam journal area... you can see this is essentially new.

Part Number

The next two pics show the ports:

Valves, springs and gaskets.

These last three pics show the work that was done to unshroud the intake valves... this makes a ton of difference on the flow bench. Even with forced induction, this makes a lot of difference. It also makes the valves live longer because the fuel/air mixture cools around the valve more evenly. The other thing it does is it adds a bit to the swirl in the combustion chamber. Like I said... a ton of difference.

Guys... give me a break here. I'm just a "rookie" at selling stuff on line. I wrote it out on a piece of paper. I wasn't trying to fool anyone here... just trying to comply with the rules without having to go to storage, un-box everything and take all the pics again.
If someone that wants to buy this is worried that it is not real, then when we settle on a deal, I'll take pics again before I collect any money. Besides... I want to use paypal and you are protected from such stuff if you use pay pal.
I will post one pic with the head as soon as I get to storage.

OK gang... here are two pics of the head with a new username & date. This time it is not photoshoped in. See... no scam. (You can tell I'm not a scammer, 'cause I never knew why everyone was putting the pieces of paper in their pics... now I know.)

The fair market value of a property is based on what a knowledgeable, willing and unpressured buyer would probably pay to a knowledgeable, willing and unpressured seller in the market.
eBay is the embodiment of this saying. So, we'll see what the fair market value really is. Here's the link:
