I have an Injen intake with a brand new filter (still wrapped). It's the polished tube, and it has a slight cut on the outside of the tube (didn't go all the way through) that was caused by the front core support. You can simply put double sided padded tape (like I did) to cover it so it doesn't go any deeper. $150 shipped

 

Will a k&n filter work on it? Because I don't need a new filter at all. The other guy was selling me just the tubing for 100 shipped. Not looking to spend too much more than that since his was virtually new without any chips in it :/

 

It may work, depends on the diameter of the opening on the filter.
