Night Bump! Took the race engine apart today! Everything is ready to ship! Rods, Neutral Balance Shafts are all MINT condition!
Head needs approximately $300 in work. When my motor blew, I blew the 4th cylinder sleeve into a ton of tiny pieces. It took out the 4th piston and scarred up the heads combustion chamber side. The valves are all fine, the head is straight and NOT warped, Guides are fine. I talked to my engine builder and asked how much it would cost. He said anywhere between $250-$300 to do it right and weld it and then smooth it back out and put new seals in it. My price on this head was $2200. I can either fix it and sell it for $2200 still or I can offer it to you guys at a much discounted price of $1600 Shipped! So you get pretty much $300 extra off. I think that is very fair!
