I've only had my car 6 weeks and I've already got a nail in one of my tires that is too close to the sidewall to safely repair. Needless to say I need a new tire ASAP and just thought I'd check if anybody locally or within a couple hours of me has an extra one... These friggin tires are over $300 CDN each here in Canada but I'm getting one thru tire rack for $195 US and picking it up at the border. The dealer wanted $400 plus install... for one tire!! yikes

Whoa, that's cheap. I'll have to keep that in mind for future reference. I've already bought the new Pirelli so it's too late now. There really wasn't much sense in letting the other 3 go to waste with only 5,000km on them...

 

just threw one out yesterday. had less then 500 miles on it but i got 4 new ones

i was tired of looking at it chillin in my room.

 

shipping to canada is more but still cheaper than local dealers for tires
