just traded in my rx8 today for an 07 Cobalt SS/SC. I'm looking for a few parts, so you can just PM me or post on this thread what you have and what you're asking. I have a great trader score on rx8club.com so if you want to look there for what the community think about me you can look there.

ok I want an intake, prefereably K&N but I will accept the Injen one.

an HID kit, open to different k's. idk if just bulbs will work but I am assuming I will need the ballasts as well.

lastly, I would like the high rise wing. I have the low rise right now (silver). I'll buy just the wing itself if you'll ship, or I would trade trunks if you are close enough. (I am in Lancaster, PA.)

**edit: also, I'd like to have a shorter antenna to replace the long ass one on the back. LMK

i just traded in my 07 ss/sc on friday. I have a k&n typhoon intake that was just took off my old car, make an offer
btw, it has about 20k on it. still in good shape

 

I would go with a 3" intake...

yeah i just dont want ANY trouble from the dealer. i know k&n doesnt void any cars warranty..

 

this is gm. farting in the car voids the warranty to some dealers

do what i did, take a vacuum line cap (cant remember what size) and cut the antennae in half then cap it. its like a $3 mod

WHAT I REALLY WANT IS THE HIGH RISE SPOILER. i can trade you my low rise plus cash..or trunk for trunk plus cash if its the 07 silver (idk if there's a difference)

 

ill take a pic tomorrow if i have to but its simple. go to autozone or pep boys or just wherever is close and buy a variety pack of vacuum line caps. take electrical tape if you have it and wrap it around the area you wanna cut than take a hack saw and cut it then once its through take the tape off and put a tight fitting cap on it. voila a $3 mod if you have a way of cutting the antennae

I have a brand new aem intake that im looking to sell

 

here is what i did, you can see what my antenna looks like in the Pic.

Take your antenna off.
Wrap it in a rag and put it in a Vise.
hacksaw the antenna as short as you would like.
mix up some JB Weld.
Take a 1/4 inch Vac. Cap and put JB weld in it.
Put on top of Antenna.
Wipe off excess.

 

ive got a set of 10000k hids ill sell you cheap but they are for the first gen headlights

 

^^idk, but wouldn't this mess up the reception?
