my bank actually calls me to verify anytime there is suspicious charges to my account.

 

They do, but it's gonna take a little while to clear everything up. Problem is I do a lot of big purchases every few months, so they don't call me anymore when they go through. Won't get the money back for at least 3-4 more weeks, which doesn't help cause pretty much all my bills are due next week.
