i have this same hood, it actually fit pretty damn good. i was skeptical at first, but i gott admit, looks good.

I does want that hood but tuning my car comes first. If you still have it in a few weeks ill pick it up for sure

 

i want hood, but i like my hood shocks to much to get one if only it twas stronger in that area....

My Shock is on my hood, seems to be just fine!

 

sold intake tube, sale pending on BPV, also got a SS oil cap I for got about, ill get pics up soon. anyone interested in the hood shoot me a PM on your bid, but ill tell you shipping on this is ridiculous so im trying to get local only, im near ohio border so Toledo also

 

i thought i had seen somewhere the shock causes cracks or something in the hood....

 

if you still have this when i get back we might be able to work something out.. maybe.. i dont know right off the top of my head how'd i'd get a hood back from michigan with the cobalt... ha

 

do what I did to get it home, take stock hood off, put carbon one on when you get here. LOL

 

but thats what a 4-5ish hour ride without a hood... is that even good? haha

eh well if he still has it come end of October start of November time frame we might be able to work something out...

 

when i bought mine i put in in the trunk/backseat.

its a little tricky, but fold down the back seat, adn them move the front seats all the way up. the hood fits through the pass door, over the top of the front seats and will slide into the trunk through the opening, then you can put the front seats back to where they were and drive away.

i did it this way cause its illegal to drive without a hood in MA, and i seem to get pulled over for anything
