Pioneer AVIC-X940BT

Hey guys I'm selling my head unit. It's a pioneer AVIC-x940bt. It has Bluetooth talk and audio etc. all the mounting brackets for a cobalt and wiring harness so it's plug and play for our cars. Sat nav, compatible with apple or android phones etc. plays DVDs has USB and aux plugs. Any other questions just look up the model. It's in really good shape I've only had it since February. Padlock had it before me. I'm asking $425 shipped. Nothing wrong with it I just rather but go fast parts. Lol

FYI, 05-06 cobalts use a different harness than 07-10 cobalts.

Which year is yours ?

It has a cd you put the update on with your computer then put it into the unit. Pretty simple. Yes it's free to update

How hard is it to install? Is it really just plug and play?

Yeah it is plug and play. The wire harness will plug right in if the car is an 07+. You will have to run the wires for USB plug etc into your glove box or wherever and the mic for Bluetooth will have to be run to wherever you want to put the mic. It has all the plug ins for a system if that's the route you want to go. FYI the steering wheel controls will not work with it unless you install a steering wheel control module which I don't have

The pioneer units are solid.
I love mine.

APP radio sucks. Most of the stuff in them can be used with the better pioneer models anyways. Mine has app radio built into the plethora of other things it does.

Yeah it has apps on it as well as being able to download more. Like i said i never used it to it's full potential and it's kind of a waste for me seeing as I'm not putting a system in and I have nav on my iphone. The Bluetooth audio is sweet though being able to have the car next to a bonfire or in the shop and control the music without getting up. The DVD option is cool too but I'm always driving it so not much use to me lol the gf used it a few times for DVDs while I drive
