Polished/Wrinkle Black LSJ valve cover

Did this one to see how it would look. Came out pretty nice I think.

Also have a new valve cover gasket and a good oil filler cap if needed, let me know.

$120 shipped. Can give you some credit for your old valve cover as well.

Polished the top flats, then taped and painted, nothing terribly special, just a lot of time.

Send me one, i'll make something happen. Biggest problem with the LE5 one is that it's all round on the actual cam bulges, so I don't know where the cutoff line would be for polished to paint. I have an idea how to make it look good though. This was the only valve cover I had around.

Never been installed, still 100% clean. Had it ultrasonic cleaned before I painted it (after sanding, just to make sure there was nothing in the baffles), then made it pretty.

Going rate for old valve covers is about $40-50, so i'd say about that as long as it's in nice shape.

PM sent.

I'll give a $40 credit for a used LSJ valve cover in return.

It's not a metallic flake, that's just how the camera makes it look. It's a glossy black, and the flash from the camera makes it look like that. It's just the plain black wrinkle paint made by VHT, the stuff for engine use, like 350+degree stuff. I've used the krylon wrinkle on my parts before, and it just doesn't give quite the same finish, not as nice IMO. I also don't know about it's heat resistance, this stuff will take anything except for exhaust heat.

Bought it locally, either from Horsepower Sales or Pep Boys or something. Will be with all the header paint, roll-bar/chassis paint, etc.

Also have a new valve cover gasket, and used oil cap and coil cover, if someone needed any other parts with it.
