the issue is because you requested the payment be made as a gift. When you gift something on paypal, the buyer isn't protected in the case of a scam or damaged parts. 9 times outta 10, when a seller requests payment as a gift, they are a scammer. Thats what his issue is.

No scams here. I've been a member on this forum since I got my first cobalt back in 09 and never had a problem. Just don't like losing the money that PayPal charges you to sell things. But to each their own.
I will not require the purchase to be made as a gift. Just need to sell these as they are cluttering up my room

 

That's when you ask for the buyer to pay the fees just like everyone else does. Cover fees or gift is what you state, not just gifting is the buyers only option...On a $90, fees are going to be approx. $2.70...It's $2.70, not a whole lot in fees there.
