why do most people run tow hooks?? i understand maybe if you break down to keep a wrecker from hooking to anything and destroying it, but otherwise just for looks?? Ive always just thought it gave the impression of your car may or may not make the trip your about to take, LOL

 

the first time the wrecker destroys the front of your bumper, lip, intercooler and the rest, the tow hook sort of pays off.

most of the folks here either race (its required) or mod their car and care about the potential damage.

wow $135 for both isnt bad at all. i may have to look into color options and what not come spring time. esp if i go and try my had at some racing. though, are the necessary for AutoX?

 

If I break at the track that I go to there are two ways to get the car off. Tow strap to the tow hook or pushed by a Polaris quad at the the rear bumper.

Wanna guess which one I'd prefer? Besides, the front Powell hook makes an excellent GoPro mount.

 

I;m not sure it's 135 for both. I suspect typo there.
