Anybody interested in a set of gloss black Gen 2's with tinted side markers? I have 2 dissasembled sets and can make 1 good set if some1 wants to buy them. There the CCFL Halo headlights, but like I said i took them apart, painted gloss black, and tinted the sidemarkers

and yes, there gloss black, not black plastic, i painted them. Not a typo

 

Why selling them? They are sexy.

 

I had gotten my gen 2's off a buddy who destroyed the lenses on them, replaced the lenses with OEM and rocked them forawhile. Then another guy had Gen3's he wanted to trade for black OEM's, so i did that and put the OEM lenses from the Gen 2's on them. Then some1 had a set of Gen 2's that had all these plastic ***** inside of them from a dessicant bag that exploded, he gave them to me after doing some work on his car. So i have 1 set of gen 2's that have to be taken apart to get the beads from the dessicant bags out, and then there good, and then i have a set of gen 2's thats gloss black with tinted side markers with no lenses on them. So i can take the dessicant one apart, swap the inside gloss black part from the 1 to the other, remove the plastic pieces, and reinstall the lens. and wabam, set of headlights for sale.

heres the actual lights, these are NOT the lenses that will be on them, these are just thrown on there and arent even sealed on there yet

end of the month but im driving up with my parents for my grandmothers suprise birthday, i doubt i can stop in NJ to sell headlights lol

 

maybe ill buy em then, need to check my finances in the next week. Gotta shell out $5500 for schooling on June 21st

why do u have 2 sets man?

 

cause im the **** and extra lenses but there sold already i still have parts off stock headlights in the attic too. iv worked on alot of peoples cars and accumulated **** over time. gonna be painting a set of Gen 4's and replacing the lenses this week as well

What would all be required to get these to work? Stock bulbs and everything work? Or do they plug right up?

Ill try to get the other set all good but i may need new lenses. I have 1 set of lenses that just need to be buffed as some1 used goo gone to remove adhesive and left it on there and it ate the plastic, wet sanding adn buffing will bring them back to new, but some1 stopped by today and wanted to buy them. The other set I have is good and there now sold to this guy^ going on his Gen 2's. And the other set if off Gen 3's with stress cracks in them. I wonder if I wetsand them and clearcoat the lens if the clear will bridge the cracks. I can even add some black to the clear and smoke them. Then they would be fixed, i wanna try that, or else I will have to get my hands on more lenses to make a 2nd set of Gen 2's. Or just sell them as is for cheap and some1 else can put lenses on them

 

From your experience with projector headlights, which gen do you like best? Which is the best quality? Thanks!
