wo wo wo now, this is the same kit that Duane has that alpine put on personally. I don't personally have the software but the SMT-6 will be able to tune it. I'm suppose to be getting the software in sometime this week or next week. But I will definelty send it to whoever buys the kit, no extra cost. So don't worry about tuning, i thought the same thing. SMT-6 is a piggyback so it'll still run nicely

wait this comes with the smt-6? and you are getting the tuning software?
p.s. from an experienced ebayer NEVER start a bid that high it scares bidders. i doubt anyone will bid on that

no i just brought this kit on ebay a few weeks ago and got it in the mail 3 days ago. I was planning on putting it in myself but i don't feel as confident anymore since i've never put a turbo in before and i don't know exactly what i'm doing. SO i'm selling it for the price i got it for. I had to buy it cause it was such a good deal. I'll let u know in about a week if i'll sell it seperatly but it sounds like a plan

Yea i know, because i don't physically have it yet, but the person i brought it from at first IS suppose to be still sending it to me. If he doesn't, it can be brought from alpine themself i believe. I'm going to be looking more into it.

really? i didn't know that. your right, i'm an inexperienced seller of ebay but i can promise good service. This is my first selling item but thanks for the tip. Should i lower it? I just want to get what i paid, back to me. Not looking for profit totally...it'd be nice but yea...don't want it to go to waist

best way to get what you paid is by putting a reserve on the item at what you want to get for it. people will bid high because its worth it and they know it. seriously start the bidding at 1$ it will go up quickly TRUST ME. if in the end the reserve is not met you are not obligated to sell it at all, but you have the chance to take the hightest bid if its close and you think it about right. remember you NEVER have to sell your item even after the bid is one. you are onl obligated to pay for items you buy. EBAY works very well in that respect

I found it at a great price and couldn't let it go. I was planning on putting it on myself but it seems out of my league becuase i've never even worked with turbos before. Plus i'm still paying for my car and i don't want to do something wrong. And theres no close shop here that will install it for me. So if anyone can install it themself or even take it to a shop near them. it'll be worth it. But to me now, i can't do anything w ith it. its never been installed or tampered with, just was a bad idea of mine to get it and not know what i'm doing

i'm not selling the software, I was informed that it will be here this week or first of next week. Its SMT-6 software, as far as i know, is reliable. It will be sent to the buyer at the end of the auction. I'm sure i'll have it by then. But it is not promised in the bid so if i can't get it then the buyer will not get it, it can be brought from alpine i believe. Or the maker, http://www.perfectpower.com/products/smt6.asp

no clue how much it is, its being given to me by the person i brought it from

then an "install-yourself" turbo kit is not for you... you need to understand what's going on and how everything works before attempting this, my $0.02

my comment was that the software was downloadable - i din't say anything about the cable or the box - ****** DUH those aren't d/lable... christ.
if you had half a mind as to WHO makes the SMT-6, you'd know it's not ALPINE's site that has the download, it's PERFECT POWER - makers of the box.

anything else, n00b?

ahem, I was corectting you because you said and quote "you can download it from alpine's site" And I said your wrong because u can't download the software from alpines site. You get your facts straight before you try to correct someone. I may be a n00b to you but I atleast know what i'm saying when i say it. You need the software AND the box, if i'm not mistaken. And your right, its not as easy as it sounds to "install-yourself" And i've figured that out. Thanks for the $0.02. Won't buy me much though

reserve price is MUCH lower than Alpine's $3550 price i'll tell you that much. I got it at a great price and i'm tryin to sell it back for that much. Just bid, it'll be fun
