For Sale: Engine cover for 2.2

im selling the plastic engine cover that sits on the valve cover and the oil cap extension that fits in between
it is black plastic that says ecotec on it, brand new

i was gonna paint it but now need to get rid of
PM me for some pics , i only want like 20 bux shipped anywhere

i dunno mine was free tho
i service a bunch of enterprize rentals and took it off the 2.2 base

Wasn't it designed to absorb noise from the engine to keep the cabin quieter? How come you didn't just leave it on the rental?

cuz you cant see the motor, cant access the filter and i was checking for a spark coil ground

but this thing doesnt quiet anything down, the SS/SC doesnt have one
the cover is just in the way, so i liberated the ecotec valvecover

How do you take that cover off anyway? I havn't really looked too close at it yet.

unscrew the oil fill cap
and tug
cover comes off, might want to pull the dipstick first
then unscrew the lil angle extension neck
rethread stock oil cap back on
you will have to do it to change the oil might as well try it, it looks much better to see the engine

but if you break your ill sell mine to ya fo cheap, can always paint it or something
