Will that intercooler work for a 04 WRX Sport Wagon? My wife has the 04 turbo WRX Sport Wagon. Thinking about doing downpipe, exhaust, intake, and intercooler and tune or something.

Yes the tmic will work for her subaru, and all subarus using the ej20/ej25, and some using the gc20 motor, however it will require a new y pipe, I prefer samco there the best in the bussiness, you can buy one for like 40 dollars or just buy the whole samco y pipe coupling kit for 100

 

What kind of intercooler (brand? Top, front of V-mount?) and how much?

My roomate has an '06 STI so he might be interested.

no way, i wouldnt get much for it anyways, i drive it hard and i rally on rocks and everything and have no mudflaps, so it has rock chips all down the doors

Kinda. I guess you could say so actually. My parents moved down to SC back in Jan '07, and when that happened, I had no place to go. The reason was, was b/c my parents put our house up for sale, and within 4 days it sold. They had expected it to take much longer to sell. So when it all of a sudden sold, I had no where to go, and none of my friends wanted to move out either, and I couldnt afford a place by myself. So for the past year i've been living in a spare bedroom at one of my best friend's (the guy with the STI) parent's house. Awkward. At first it wasn't too bad, but after living there a year, I just feel soooo damn out of place. Plus, I live down a 2 mile dirt road, which sucks (can never keep the car clean) and its super out of the way for work. My new apartment will be with a close friend of mine (H22 swapped hatch this time around, always living w/ someone into cars though), who also recently got hired on where I work, and his girlfriend. Its about 35 min closer to work (I drive about 1 1/2 hours to work right now, but I do take turns carpooling), and no more awkwardness. I'll be a bit more broke, but I think overall it will just be alot more fun, and i'll have complete freedom for once.
