Shorty antenna

Does anyone have a short antenna lying around that they want to get rid of for an 06 cobalt?

If you get an all aluminium one it'll work better than a carbon fiber one. ARK Performance makes one that's pricey but fits flush, looks great and gets good reception. It's like $30.00 - $40.00.

Take your antenna, Cut it to desired length, file the end, sand till smooth, rattle can paint flat black.

That's mine and it only cost me nothing...

My ARK gets HORRIBLE reception, I can't even begin to describe how bad it comes in.

I cut mine to desired length (didn't have to paint) and top it off with a vacuum hose cap. Looks good and reception is fine.

The shorty antenna that I have on my t/c is Horrific, I don't get not even one station that comes in, I just bought the car and I just need some advise on what shorty antenna to go with cause I can't stand not being able to listen to the radio!

I have a brand new mpx I'll sell you for $15 shipped. Youll have to measure your threads though and see if they're 6mm or 7mm. 06 had two different ones. Mine was 7mm and I bought 6 at first. So now I have an extra one.

thats exactly what I did except I also put a rubber hose cap on the top. Except that I get bad reception but not because of the shorty mod, because for some reason the adapter I have for my after market heas unit hates the radio lol
