Steering Wheel

Has one small scratch and a couple scuff marks on the left side. Looking for $40+ shipping OBO. Off an '06.

how do you even get the steeering wheels off? theres nowhere for screws to screws into to use a steering wheel puller.

Honestly not sure, I didn't pull it, came with my airbags. haha

damnit lol. this kid either here or on yourcobalt is looking for an ss steering wheel and i know where one is i just cant get the steering wheel off. i go to college for auto tech and i tried pulling my off just to see how to and we used like 3 different pullers none of them worked lol

Yes you need a puller to take the steering wheel off. It must have hooks on the end and not threads but you can make them if you have access to a welder and grinder thats what I did. Some dealers will let you borrow them too.

Bump off topic why has there only been a few with aftermarket steering wheels? And is there a how to remove and install one?

I have a stock steering wheel, this came with my airbag set as I wasn't sure how to change it either.

there's a hole in both sides of the steering wheel where you can put a small flat head screw driver in. It will open the spring holding in the airbag then the airbag pops out and you unbolt your steering wheel.

you dont even need a steering wheel puller. just once you get the airbag off, take the bolt off, and just hit the back off it a good 3 hard times, and it should pop off. i got an ss steering wheel out of the junkyard like this, and the one of my car using this method

im surprised it hasnt sold. i had a ss/na leather one that sold for 100$ within a week
