I have read and been told that it transfers from car to car.

you can reuse it as long as you reflashed your car back to stock...

I have the same tune on my car, its MUCH better than stock

yeah i flashed my car back to stock before i sold it? So its good for sellin.

I had a few reasons that for selling though.

 

this should work with an 09 correct? and i suppose it doesn't encrypt the vin into it if it is transferable?

 

dont qoute me on the 09? Not sure I think I remember hearing something bout the 09's log being diff??

 

2865 is for ALL Gm gasoline engines... from I4s to V8s... that is the nice thing about this, when you get ready to resell it, you can go to just about ANY gm car forum and advertise it


I actually have the Cortex which is 2950, but once again, it will work on ANY GM gasoline engine

the only difference is the Cortex works with a few diesel models as well, of course the Cortex can be used as a diagnostics tool as well(why I bought it instead), but its the same tune on both programmers, so if all you are wanting is the tune, the flashpaq will give the same results as the Cortex
