Just seeing if anyone would be interested in trading for my BCs with about 7000 miles for a suspension with lowering springs? I drive 80+ miles a day and think springs might be a more reasonable choice. I'm wanting spring assembly and rear shocks too. My setup for yours.

Hows the ride with the coil overs?

 

It's rigid and bouncy at times like all coils. You dodge pit holes and usually ride to the inside or outside of lanes. I enjoy them on curvy roads but my commute is 80+ miles a day and I'm wanting something with more of a stock compatible ride

 

You and I spoke on fb, I think the only thing that will work for you are YYZ springs or maybe CM/SSC springs if you are looking to stay lowered but IMPROVE ride quality. YYZ are the best drop for keeping the quality that's for sure. SSC is next with CM (being almost identical) H&R, B&G, Megan, Sportlines, ect ect all ride like crap.

 

People will say "Oh im on sportlines and they ride fine!" Then you see they live in Miami or something with flat roads.

 

I've got CM springs and FE5 struts that I would love to trade!

I knew you would $1000 for coilovers new isn't in everyones budget, people will jump at the chance to save a few hundred off of that if its the case, especially when their current stuff is worth something in trade.

Springs like I mentioned have around 6000 miles on them, only used them for about 3 months. Struts should have right around 50k, but they're still in awesome shape. I could get photos of it all if you'd like.

 

I have FE5 LNF struts, stock or adjustable BC rear shocks, and SSC springs. All mounted.

I would meet up and trade you.

 

Ive got B&G springs on my TC suspension I'd be willing to part with it all. car has 50k and the springs might have 3k miles on them. PM me if you're interested

 

ive Got eibach Sportlines id be willing to trade barely 5k on them

 

I just thought about it. I have a redline, not a cobalt, so us swapping wouldn't work.

In the posters defense I don't think you made it clear about wanting a more comfortable ride hence all the recommendations to swap for B&G and Sportlines here and on FB haha. B&G's will ride worse than coilovers. and Sportlines will not be far behind.

Why not jump on the OTTP spring group buy and throw them on stock struts?

 

Why would he buy springs? He was looking for a trade for springs + cash most likely, think its already done and over with he hasn't posted in a few days.
