Had this unit for a while , worked great, was everything i could ever want in a double-din at a great price. Untill one day it continued to reload the start up screen and would not load past that. I contacted pioneer, they sayed its a common problem and an easy fix. Basically they have to restore and update the software. they wanted to charge me to fix it , so instead i purchased a different unit. i did not feel like waiting for them to fix it and dealing w/ S+H also. Its now up for grabs for neone that wants it. Includes All Wiring and everything it originally came w/ except bluetooth mic. =/ which can easily be purchased off ebay or something

Actually interested in this... but a few questions... does it work with onstar? since onstar has the bluetooth shouldnt need it... also does it work with the steer wheel controllers?

 

Yes you have to buy the GMS-LAN04 harness and the ASWIPS steering wheel harness.. theres a HOW-TO somewhere on here

It's easy to update the software. Just download it from pioneers website and save it on an SD card. Then just put the SD card in the unit and it updates.

I think itd be better if you updated it and made sure it all worked properlky before selling it off....might make your sale easier too...i know i drather buy something i knew worked rather then "needs this to fix it" type of thing

 

i was under the impression only pioneer could fix it .. and i did not wanna deal with downloadin a hack for it nor spend the money to fix it . so i spent the money on a new one, thats why im asking such little $ for it. i spent over a grand on it new
