Nobody builds with OEM headlights as standard.....dealer cost on the lights alone is $500+/pr

BuyHIDs uses off the shelf Morimoto harnesses(arguably the best of the Chinese stuff). The vendor on the other site custom builds harnesses with GM spec wire, connectors, relays, and such.

Both may use Morimoto projectors, but do they both use Morimoto bulbs and ballasts as well? No.

$800+ for MH1 projectors? BFC charges that much ($849) but neither of the guys youre talking about charge that much.

Theres lots of things that go into a retrofit that determine price. You either need to understand them, ask the builder, or just not give a ****

No that's the legit typical price range for them they are not cheap nor easy to make either; this I know. But I am not 100% on the details such as all the different options and what's better as I am no retrofit genius but I do know a few differences in what seems to be the top two choices of retrofit venders and all I am trying to do is simply decide on which one I will go with which was the purpose of my post. Instead of getting a response I am told to check my grammar and that my facts which I obtain solely from each vendor individually was inaccurate and practically to fck off.

Sorry next time ill be more clear maybe type one letter per line probably that would make it easier for you. Secondly no they do not both use OEM headlamps Maven uses Depo OEM quality lights(hence Aftermarket nothing wrong as they are the closest to OEM just a fact) and BH uses OEM Headlamps both do have the option of Morimoto's but BH also offers a cheaper route of other HIDs from what I have seen to make a even more affordable retrofit headlight as Maven Only uses Morimoto's. Third let me know when your adding onto my college GPA maybe then ill take the time to write a properly done eassy.

As I stated above maven BH states they use OEM and from the pics they do look OEM . A plus for BH and one thing I like about them . Also both venders use Morimoto's BH I believe does offer a cheaper route to use a standard HID rather than the more costly Morimoto's from what I have read throughout all the threads. Yes BH uses a cheap harness which I see as a down side but a plus for you maven and your hand made gm harness that look amazing . I do understand that there is alot in these retrofits and I do know that I have not the slightest clue as to all the different variables and options, what is better or more output etc. which was the reason of my first post to figure out more about these retrofits as I am really looking to purchasing a set from one of you two venders which seem to be the best two options available. I am trying to ask not trying to get bashed I know your a pretty blunt person maven and get to the point I can respect that but if you don't understand someone there's no need to throw them under and tell them to not give a ****(practically **** off if you don't know what your talking about) especially when there trying to figure out which route to go by looking at all the variables and trying to get there facts straight. (there's my um what do you like to say alot "criticism") Just my "opinion" on the retrofit review thread it seems very one sided but the point here is to become informed(what is out there are far as choices what does each choice look like what is better than the other and why) to help a consumer me make a decision on which route I believe will provide me the best product/service.

Thanks

1shotwonder, you misunderstood what I meant in my "don't give a ****" comment. I mean you just need to not care what goes into the lights. Some people just don't give a **** about what goes into making a light or what parts are used. So that's the third option or type of buyer......there's people who really know what's going on and exactly what they want, people who ask their builder questions and look for their recommendations, and there's customers who just don't give a ****. "I want chrome retros".....what kind of projector would you prefer?....."I don't care I just want chrome retrofits". Or "I don't care what part you use or how well they are made so long as they have green evil eyes and purple blinkers"

And yes Buyhids does say OEM lights on their site, but they definitely don't use OEM. I mentioned it before to him. He has posted that he used Eagle Eyes or VaIP housings, and you can see in his pics stacks of these types of lights. Look at the backs and you can clearly see they are not GM adjusters. Like I mentioned earlier, GM lights are $500+ a pair, just for housings.

Buy hids does not use Oem headlights, I had a pair of headlights that came from BH and the headlights them selves are definitely a lotta cheaper made
Then my Oem ones that may look Oem but there alot cheaper plastic and put to get her alot cheaper( once u get inside)
