as the title says.. i am looking for a gmpp touring muffler to replace my stock one.. i like the stock piping just not the huge muffler so if anyone has anything for me i would greatly apreciate it.

I'm looking to sell mine, but not untill I get a new exhaust system. Probably late May or early June. Hopefully you'll still want one in the next 3 weeks

 

actually yea.. the whole catback? how many miles?

 

Why not just buy an aftermarket muffler? Pretty sure the GMPP exhaust was co-developed with Corsa or something. Just find out what muffler they used (or a similar one) and do that. Not sure if it will do anything though. Haven't people had success with the Dynomax mufflers?

 

i really couldnt tell ya.. i was thinkin bout that for a while but i just decided that i like the sound of the gm one but im probably just gonna get the whole catback now that i kno how messed up the stock exhaust piping is..

 

I have a muffler off the gm cat back. It is in really nice condition, comes with the gm angled tip as well. PM me if interested. Plenty of pipe out the back to weld in.

 

The system is made by Borla, best bet would be to get one of thiers. Can't get the GMPP muffler just by itself.

 

I tried for a long time to find just the GMPP touring muffler and no luck

Do you know what muffler Borla used in the GMPP touring system?

 

No idea. Just that the look and sound is identical to the Borla system. Maybe Borla would say what that one is.

i actually called borla and asked them which muffler they used on gmpp and tech said they dont sell it seperately, it was actually co developed between borla and gm techs and gm performance gave them specific guidelines to follow had to meet strict standards and that the borla catback is close but its not exact, and sound will be a little more noticeable on the borla kit.
