I made a deal with chrisw1631 to purchase some parts. Explained that I would pick them up and we agreed on everything. I set up everything, pulled out over a grand from savings, bought a hotel, arranged everything. I double checked with him tonight to make sure he wouldn't back out, everything was perfect. Then at 1 am he sends me a text saying the deal is off no thank you bye.

This kid is shady and it pisses me off that we have people on our forums like this. He hasn't stolen anything from me but he has caused me a BUNCH of headaches, I HIGHLY recommend you stay far far far away from this seller.

i dont understand how ur gonna go bash someone who already made arrangements with another buyer and that is ur PM to me when u came to me stating u were getting his parts and u would then sell them to me for the same deal i made with him that u know nothing about and i had already made arrangements to buy most of his SC parts as of tomorrow or as soon as my funds finish transfering to paypal. that agreement was made over a week ago. plus... ur just pissed cuz u were tryin to get parts from him that would cause him a HUGE loss and u a HUGE gain.

 

I was giving you the option of buying the parts because he was going to sell them to you, and he agreed to sell them to me instead since I was buying other things from him. It wasn't a "huge" loss for him, nor a "huge" gain for me. He told me that he would sell me everything for a certain price and I figured if I didn't need the supercharger kit that much (my good friend is slightly interested but not 100% interested) that I would sell it to you since you originally had a deal set up with him that he backed out on.

I was buying an engine and a few other parts and he was 13hrs away. My mom went into the hospital today, I called him and let him know that I still wasn't going to back out of the deal though because I am a man of my word and I have honor/integrity. He said if I needed a few days that was fine, but I told him that she was stable and I would be able to make it out there.

 

and im still purchasing those parts. so hes a man of his original word.

Feel free but I would get pictures before purchasing anything and make sure you use a credit card. Generally when someone refuses to let you pick something up locally they are shady and or don't have the parts on hand. Granted he might be backing out of this deal because he found someone who would pay more, I don't know. Either way he is shady for backing out and has no honor/integrity.

He very well might, I'm not saying he doesn't but I would still want pictures if I were to ever buy anything from this guy since he already backed out on me once. Just because you pay via paypal doesn't mean you can always get your money back. Paypal can be very shady too.

but im out ive got better things to do at 3 in the morning then to bicker about something that makes no sense to me to begin with. plus if he actually had a deal with u to drive 13 hours tomorrow i believe he would have informed me of that. because i made arrangements to pay him tomorrow if the transfer from my checking to paypal hits. plus me and him have kept in contact to make sure our deal was still on each day.

He told me he contacted you a few different times, and he told me LAST NIGHT that he contacted you again to let you know that the deal was off and that everything was being sold to me. Obviously he is lying and never mentioned anything to you about this. But he was going to sell me the entire supercharger kit and I was going to pick it up thursday morning along with a bunch of other stuff. Clearly he just kept in contact with you to make sure you were going to come through and then I guess just screw me in the end, what a *****.

Cobalttc05 - Why is it always the low post count people who have no morals/values/honor/integrity lol. Like seriously do we have to teach them everything and wipe for them too? I just got screwed out of a TVS deal with someone in ky because he wouldn't let me pick it up. I would bet everything I have that he never had one. He wouldn't show pictures, had a low post count, wouldn't let me pick it up, and would only ship. Ya, OK GUY lol.
