Blk N Blu If you had a hotel room already purchased and everything planned to make a 13 hour trip to pick up your stuff and the person backed out. Would you not be irritated?

 

sure id be pissed and irritated but to bash on the forum and claim ur gonna give someone bad rep so that cant sell nothin thats retarded... and i wouldnt have made reservations and paid for it before i got there.

 

Your telling me you wouldn't be pissed if someone backed out of a deal with you, get outta here. How about he backs out of the supercharger kit with you a few hours before you paypal him, you know you would be pissed. Maybe not because you would just buy another but in my case I wasted a lot of time moving my schedule around, my girls schedule around, etc.

I never said that you had no morals or values etc, I was implying that He aka Chris didn't have any for doing what he did. I am not out of anything besides the hotel reservation as I can't cancel it, it's only a 1 night stay for 2 adults so it's not anything major, but still bogus in my opinion.

If you looked at it from my stand point you would be pissed. I call up a guy to buy some stuff and pick it up. We agree on everything, I set everything up, I find out my mom is sick and in the hospital but still plan on going, call him to verify everything and he tells me everything is a go so I book the hotel room etc. I re-arrange my schedule and got everything setup to just have him back out. It's bogus.

Then you would be the guy who had to sleep in his car or stay in a crappy motel because the hotel was already booked . I have had things like that happen to me in the past and I have learned from my mistakes. You can also get rooms cheaper by calling ahead and making a reservation instead of just walking in. I also know this because I used to work for a hotel as a night auditor

 

to me a place to sleep is a place to sleep... i dont need ne thing classy. but we all have our own taste.

I would absolutely still go out there and get the engine however he will not have ANY contact with me. I text'd him a few times and lit up his cell phone multiple times. He is being a coward and doesn't even have the ***** to call me and tell me whats up or explain things. He sent a lame text and said bye like a 10 year old kid. Him and I said we had a "gentleman's agreement" on things and neither of us would back out. I told him I was a man of my word and he said he was of his, and obviously hes not.

I still want the parts he has, the ones that are and the ones that are not spoken for. If he would man up and sell me what isn't sold yet, I would buy it, but he won't.

A place to sleep is a place to sleep when you are *ab* as it's called in the medical field, meaning able bodied, aka don't have any disabilities. However I have a bad back and sleeping on crappy beds can just ruin an entire day for me and cause me a lot of pain. I got into a car accident a few years ago and broke my back and had a few spinal fusions. I am still walking with a limp and have issues as we speak, so maybe now you understand why this is a little more stressful to me.

Back on topic though, do you guys think I have a right to be pissed off? Do you think I went to far making this thread? The way I see it is if he will do this to me and back out last second, I might as well give a warning out to people and let them know because they might have an issue also.

I would hate to see someone else, especially a kid get screwed because this guy backed out.
