Well on that motor, is the engine itself ok? I don't care about heat much unless it melted the block. I have all the internals and parts that bolt on the outside.

In all honesty its probably going to cost 5x what the part is worth just to ship, You're probably better off grabbing one off ebay(I seen one for about $6).

 

I do have the spare tire but I cant imagine shipping being very cheap at all, probably more than the tire is worth. Have you tried calling a local car wrecker?

You're right about the shipping. It's going to be hard to find. I need one from an SS Turbo with Brembos. I did a Brembo swap on my G6 and my spare does not clear my Brembos. Does that spare clear your Brembos?

 

There is no spare that clears brembos. If you get a flat on the front you have to swap a rim from he back and put the spare on the back.
This is proper procedure with a flat tire on any fwd car as its kinda hard on the diff having two different size tires/ you don't want your breaking/load bearing/steering tires to he a doughnut.

 

FYI there isn't even a steel rim that clears brembos Nevermind a doughnut.

 

You're right about that. Just a pain in the ass to use that compact jack that comes with the car. I guess that is what I will have to do if that ever happens or just call someone to bring me a rolling floor jack and one of my full size spares. I also checked the part numbers on GM Parts Direct and both the LT and the SS use the same spare.

 

When I get my powerlocks and windows I'll PM about the door panels

Also do you happen to know if the MAF sensor was lit up?

I should come by and take a look at it one day and salvage some **** off it i need. Could use a HVAC unit, the lights in mine have dimmed now.

Yea dude MAF is def a stain on Troy's driveway at this point.

You're more than welcome to come take a look at the car, not too much left on the car itself but still a few things. I wouldnt mind going and taking a look at it myself, its being stored less than 5min from my house and prob havent even seen it in 2 months or so. I always have a bunch of HVAC's laying around so if ya need one just let me know..

I do still have the 3rd brake light. Let me look into shipping costs..
