I don't know about $40. The lowest I've seen for a good lid is $100 local.

I've seen them as much as $250

On average they run about $150 around here. I looked for about 2 weeks for a wingless one and was about to buy one for $100 but its so much cheaper for me just to weld my holes and paint it myself.

Honestly I would never pay $400 for a trunk. For an extra $100 you can get a Carbon Fiber lid.

Just my two cents. Not trying to take any business away from the OP. For anyone who buys one for that much, I'm glad your getting what you want.

uhh...they go for 80 to MAYBE 130 in perfect condition. Your price is a gm dealership NEW price, hell i work for pellegrino and with my discount I'd have to pay $210
