WTB: Cheap BOV

I need one cheapo blow-off, just has to be functional, not fancy. I was thinking like in the $10-20 range if not free. If anyone has one laying around, let me know please. Thanks.

I actually am ok with a really soft spring, its for a pretty low boost application. Just something to futz around with really.

I might have to go e-bay, I can't believe no-one I know has an extra cheap one laying around somewhere. I know some people had to upgrade to a good one from a crap one and hung on to the old one. I can use a crappy one for now.

just remember the bov is a safty system to help your car to not over boost, if you cheap out and get a junk one, you could be paying alot more in repairs

Ehh, if it blows up it would get a swap anyway, besides it is a low boost setup on a relatively strong, not too powerful engine. Just want something to release the pressure, and make noise really. I'd say its about 95% asthetics on this perticular application.

well subarus dont really gain anything by using a aftermarket bov, unless they are running higher boost than the factory bpv, which is why im using one also cause i have ic piping now too, but yes an aftermarket one does cause the car to run rich but only during shifts not all the time though, he might notice the car is a lil laggier until he hits maybe 3lbs so really nothing, also the car will drive much smoother, if he replaces his tell him to remember to disconect the battery for at least 5 min he should do this after every mod cause our cars have a self learning computer forgot the actual term, but it even sences how he drives and adjusts to that, if you need anything else feel free to ask

Get the fake Type RS off ebay. It worked great for me on my Integra while I had it. Then I traded it and $50 for a Real Greddy Type S. Much better.
