no. there were links posted to bits that will not work "as-is" and said nothing about modifying it.
I disagreed with that. then you started backpeddling

btw....way to go back and delete that post.
why would you do that hmm???

Because Im sick of you criticizing, if you dont like my info, no one gets the info, if you looked closer at the one link they were the correct tools. No I dont take criticism well from someone who thinks they know everything, i could give the link right now to the exact tool again but i guess we will see

take a closer look at the links and see if you can find the bit on there, cause it was on all of them, and actually i just found it on the lowes site aswell, just not in stock

no im here, just not worth my time with you

if anyone wants to know the name of the bit your looking for pm me, also i will have 2 sets in a bout a week i can send out to people, by the way i have found at least one vendor online that sells them aswell, in the exact form they are needed, no modification required

this is the stage 2 bit

now if youd said that in the first place, instead of linking bits that wont work, this discussion would never have happened.

but whatever.

Guys. I asked for the GM bit that came with a stage 2 kit. Thats what i posted in my thread, thats what i want to buy. I don't want to get a knockoff or a star or a torx bit. If i did i would have driven 2 stop lights down to the nearest parts store and picked one up rather than trying to find standardized used bits on an internet forum and dealing with the hassel but again thats not what im looking for.

So to clarify this and keep the thread on topic, thank you anomalous, rukkee, and lewisb for mentioning again that it is a proprietary bit and it is this proprietary bit that I am looking for. If someone has one that they don't need anymore and are willing to sell it, please send me a PM or post here. Thanks in advance again.

Stay OT guys.

Well would you mind posting pictures of the bit you found. Im not saying you are lying, I would just like a picture or a link so I can see or read up on it. Please post the link you are talking about so we (as a community) can possibly use it if it is indeed the same bit.

That really doesnt look like the bit. That bit doesnt even look twisted. I don't think that is the one.

if you cant take a little critisizm you need to stay off internet forums.
Amen to that! You can find this type of bit where an aviation mechanic buys his tools. Youll often see it used on prop blades.
