WTB: GM Stage II Kit.
yes unless u go to the dealership and have them do the stage 2 tune on your car, which would be more expensive...HP Tuners is cheaper and the person who tunes it can tweak the tune on your car if needed
i have a few questions. i bought a set of stage 2 injectors + the harness. how can i test them to be completely sure they work good? also GM still has the stage 1 to stage 2 upgrade kit available, since im still under wty, would that be the best way to go for now? i beleive the kit comes with the calibration code...right?
to know if they work or not, ask the person you bought from, or you could prob take them to a shop and get them tested. 99.9% of people i've delt with are straight up and honest about everything so i wouldn't worry. it's hard for injectors to go bad haha.
you would need to buy the code or kit from GM for them to flash you. I got hpt because of that haha.

"Price of engine calibration not included. May be additional cost will be required for engine calibration at your local dealer. "
So you're paying 300 dollars for a pulley and belt lol..
And no promise of calibration..Every dealer I talked to said they can't do it.
My satty dealer said just find a shop that will flash it or tune you lol..so i got hpt.

well it says that on all three stage kits. i think what theyre saying is that the time needed to calibrate the engine is not figured into the cost of the part. like the hour or so it takes to calibrate you will have to pay extra for. but i think it comes with the instructions, which has the calibration code correct?
Idk you'll have to call the dealer you want to go to and ask because everyone will tell you different.
I don't know if they even change the tune from stage 1 to 2 or just leave it and recharge you for it because they both are the same.
Cause if that's the case that won't work either.

The GM Performance Division did not manufacture the parts, like everything else they have suppliers that do that. All they did was develop and test the kits. I guarantee you can walk into a competent dealer and pick up a stage kit if you are looking for one
Before you know it this rumor will be going on that the kits are discontinued, just as it was a while back that GM backed off the rev limited to 6500.
Sounds like it wasn't flashed right by the dealer. You should have has a 7000 RPM limiter. The stock tach does have some delay in higher RPMS so it may have read lower than what the real reading was
well according to gmpartsdirect.com the kit was discontinued and is no longer in production. the only way would be to get one from someone who has one still in stock on the shelf. however as i asked before, could i purchase the stage 1 to 2 kit and use the injectors that i bought and get the tune from gm? i would believe it would have to come with kit wouldnt it?
would honestly be easiest to just let me flash the gms2 tune for you.
i saw today that warranties don't mean **** to these dealers.
they tried to tell me that i didn't have a clogged cat and that i wasn't gonna be covered

looks pretty clogged to me..
gonna take the bag of **** that i pound out of it tomorrow in and throw it on service desk lmao.

No you can't use the stage 1 to stage 2 kit if you have just the injectors. The dealership will not even give you the calibration since they need the VCI code from the kit just to even obtain the calibration. No code no calibration. The stage 1 to stage 2 kit takes a car that already has the GM stage tune, the same calibration that is used for both the stage 1 and 2 kits, and just gives you a belt and pulley
